Terasita Smith - Employee Benefits Client Advisor

Terasita is a Client Advisor for Rooney Insurance Agency, Inc. As a licensed insurance agent, she works in the Employee Benefits Department as the marketing and service contact for the agency. As Client Advisor, Terasita assists Account Managers and Account Executives with more complex accounts, providing strategic plan analysis and benchmarking information, compliance and regulatory coordination and business development for the agency.

Terasita joined Rooney Insurance Agency in 2005, and brings almost 10 years of insurance industry experience to the Rooney team. Prior to joining Rooney Insurance, Terasita resided in Oklahoma City, where she attended Oklahoma City University and served as Benefit Consultant for a large national insurance firm. She began her career in insurance in 1996 in Tulsa. She served as Associate Account Manager, managing multiple lines for small to mid sized employers. Terasita earned more industry experience when she worked as a Benefit Analyst where her primary role included marketing and plan design analysis for mid size employers. In addition to marketing and plan design, she provided day-to-day client service for claims issues, compliance and contract review. In 2001, Terasita was promoted to Benefit Consultant where she took on the role of client management and business development.
